Here is a look at Stussy’s women’s collection for Spring 2011. It’s very much a basic design and neutral color story compared with some of the bold cuts and prints of Spring 2010. And the denim features a mid-rise with flairs and there are trousers. I would have like a tad more flair, but meh, this is probably what stressed out retailers these days are demanding. The theme for these high tops could be more is more, as they combine, metallics, leopard prints and neon. Bright, loud and oh so wearable. Available  Thegoodwillout, via Sneakerfreaker.

As macho as Timberland is, over the years, it’s done its fair share of things for us ladies. Besides the fact that  plenty of us did our own version of machista cool in a pair of six-inch wheats, who could forget the winter of Timberland-inspired Manolo Blahniks, which first caught fire when they were spotted on the feet of BX fave, Jennifer Lopez? (and which Timbs eventually made their own version of.)

This collection, however, is a lil’ more refined and is clearly trying to take things next level for all us grown Timbs lovers. Known as the “Depression Era Chic” collection, it was inspired by the “post-industrial working woman.” The styles  featured here are known as “Marge,” inspired by fashionable females working hard for the money in cities worldwide. They launch in the fall and two of the stores where you can purchase them are Shoe Biz in SF and Soula in BK. You may also purchase them at Timberland (where you can also check out some neat riding boots).

A clump of Nike shoes just arrived at West sneaker boutique, located in Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Terrorist-fist pump to owner Lester, who is an all around good guy and not at all your typical snot-nosed boutique owner, (who, god knows where they ever get the balls to be that way in the first place!)

^^I like the colors in these: the sea-foam blue Swoosh, the royal purple laces, the flourescent bottoms, very nice. Do I like the skinny Velcro straps? Not so sure about those.

There’s another pair on the other side, good for those who like that Army/Navy feel.

After my visit with Onitsuka Tiger yesterday, I headed uptown to the Garment District to see what the women of DC were up to. First up, the women’s spring clothing line, whose theme is "Boy Meets Girl." The line is inspired by all of your guy’s favorite pieces, albeit made strictly for the females in cut, color and details.

^^I love the checks on this, plus there’s a cute little black bow tie above the buttons that you can’t see. And the cut is perfect–just long enough to show off some curves.
