From James Dean  to Michael Jackson, Bass has been an icon of American footwear for quite sometime. For the upcoming spring, the Bass brand is pumping up the volume by addressing some very compelling trends. Our favorites were studs and a futuristic clear oxford you can see on the flip.

I definitely remember lusting after some Hush Puppies in the 90s. Little did I know at the time that the brand was experiencing an aggressive growth phenomenon, later on  documented in  Malcolm Gladwell’s Tipping Point.  More than ten years later  while the brand has not been the hottest thing on the  block for quite some time, it  has maintained a  consistent presence among better department stores like Nordstrom and several independent retailers.  Today we’re very excited to give you a peek  of what Hush Puppies will have for the ladies  next Spring.  At first glance the nod to  a creeper silhouette is working for me.’Thoughts?
