Beach Couture ,based in Spain,Takes the concept of beachwear  and  gives it  an urban/edgy aesthetic, that I have a great appreciation for. I don’t know if it’s because I spent my tween and teens years fighting  not to have  to wear pink flowery dresses with big  bows … But I have a great appreciation for women’s fashion that is edgy, unique with hints of  anything  connected to utilitarian…This collection by Sophie Hulme hits all the right notes… Plus, When does a girl ever get to have a whistle on her jacket?

If the hoopla behind the NYC opening of Topshop kind of leaves you indifferent  you let me break it down for ya…

If the Us store is a carbon copy of it’s european counterparts it should rock, their assortment remind me of what a Sex and the city wardrobe closet would be like, very eclectic but never really tacky…with  a vintage section ,trendy pieces, wardrobe staples , high end collabos,accessories ,a cafe all in one place without feeling like you are in a mall!

They would carry things like this cute little Playsuit that you might not have  tought you ever needed but that ends up being  just irresistible…

So yeah IT IS HOT in NYC!!! and of course all I can think of is the beach….This piece is by Nefer an italian brand that has been around for about 50 years who specialises is Lingerie,That is always a good bet ..cause if they make underwear at least you know your suit will stay where you want it to at least….

One of the things I learned early on in fashion  was that with basics you can never go wrong..One of the Labels that provide great ones and that might not always be in the forefront of the Trendy world is Club Monaco,Originally from Canada(hooray!) they never gave into the idea of making super trendy apparel. But always stayed current..for example if you are seaching for the perfect wide leg  most likely they made it…If you look closely you’ll realise that their aesthetic is current, modern,sexy and  sleek.Again it’s sexy without screaming it..

The quality is amazing..lined pants,covered seams…Yep I get into all that! They never do print overkill so really you never know who is wearing it,they just do great Apparel and Handbags
