Looking stunningly beautiful, Beyonce will be featured on the cover of the April edition of Vogue. Speaking out about weight and body image issues in their annual shape issue, Bee will not only flaunt her curves in couture but discuss them as well.  I can NOT wait for this issue to hit my mailbox.

Dolce & Gabbana are celebrating the launch of their makeup line with “Extreme Beauty in Vogue”, a collection of unbelievable fashion and beauty photography. The exhibition will be on display March 4th through the 10th in Milan at the Palazzo della Ragione. Curated by American Vogue and art directed by Jean Nouvel, the exhibition features numerous world renowned photographers who have shot for Vogue over the last 75 years.

Since we’re kinda on a theme of loudly expressing our love for strong women this week, the timing seems perfect not for a throwback video like we normally do on Fridays, but the recently-premiered "Miss Independent" video by NeYo.  Samia and I have had a few debates about NeYo’s status but we both agree that he’s had a ridiculous roll of hot, pop hits.

He got me good with both his "Do You" duet with Mary J, and his "Hate How Much I Love You" hit with RihRih, but I think I like "Miss Independent" most of all. The theme is great and the back-up dancers are wearing suits a la Madonna in "Vogue," which hey, you don’t get much more boss than that. And the fedoras, gotta love the fedoras.
