Another item to drive the #kanyemakesmeangry folks nuts, he’s featured in an editorial with “it” designer Riccardo Tisci of Givenchy in Vogue’s March issue. In other fashion news, he was spotted in the TopShop offices this morning so perhaps a collabo is in the queue? The talk has been swirling on that one for a minute but his presence in corporate firms up the rumor a bit. And then of course there’s his next collection to be shown during Paris Fashion Week on March 6th.

Combining artistry with graphic appeal, fashion editors’ love affair with Prada’s vintage-auto-inspired shoe continues, from major blog attention when the shoes first appeared on Spring 2012 runways to grabbing full-page spreads in U.S. Elle’s (above) and Vogue’s January issues.

H&M is partnering on a capsule collection with the costume designer, Trish Summerville (that’s her in the above image front and center with the blonde mohawkish hair), for the flick Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, which opens in December. In the fashion world the movie has already received quite a bit of buzz because Rooney Mara one of the actresses appearing in the movie was featured on the cover of Vogue’s November issue.
As for the collection, it has that Alexander Wang/Balmain, downtown rock ‘n’ roll feel to it, which is hardly new, even for H&M, and yet it’s still a bit of a watershed moment to see this look officially packaged to go mass.

Kate Moss is on the cover of Vogue’s September issue and her wedding is a major focus. Above is one “never-before-seen” shot from her big day which shows her matrons of honor from left to right: Stella McCartney, Vivienne Westwood, Jess Hallett, Kate Moss, Rosemary Ferguson, and in the bottom row, Sadie Frost and Lucie de la Falaise.
On the next page you’ll also see first-time images of Carine Roitfeld, Naomi Campbell (in Givenchy), Lara Stone, Daphne Guinness, Kelly Osbourne, Marc Jacobs, Christian Louboutin, Paul and Stella McCartney, plus a few more. Via Vogue.

Carrie Bradshaw is on the cover of August Vogue. Can’t help but wonder how things are going with Big! (And do we like the belt with the matchy-matchy watch and epaulets or no? Or is it more like, who damn cares, I’m focused on my next cocktail, it’s the August issue for god’s sake!)

Nicki Minaj performed at a environmental charity event held by auction house Christie’s last night (which, Minaj informs us via Tweet, she was asked to do so by by Anna Wintour herself), and on the red carpet was interviewed by Vogue. Here is the response to her outfit question:
What are you wearing tonight? Is it one of your favorite designers?
Yes, it is—it’s Alexander Wang. It’s all black, of course, and I knew I needed to get my green on, so that’s how I came up with the green-and-white hair. I have a lot of designers I like right now; I really like Donatella Versace. She sent me a few beautiful things recently to consider wearing to the Grammys and, even though I ended up wearing Givenchy, I believe in supporting women. I’m all about the girl power.
Which is cute because Alexander Wang stated in a recent interview that Minaj is an artist he’s listening to a lot lately (“I’m really into Nicki [Minaj] right now, of course, who isn’t?”), so…..together at last!
See a few more images, plus her response to her makeup essentials on the next page. And on another note, first Lady Gaga, then Rihanna, now Nicki?? What the heck is going on at Vogue or maybe more accurately with Wintour??

We get a first look at Rihanna’s cover for April Vogue photographed by Annie Leibovitz against what looks like an ocean backdrop. Her hair, dress and make-up are stunning, with a shot that’s so full body it appears she has to hunch over to fit in the magazine. The main headline on the cover is “World’s Most Beautiful Bodies,” but we have to shake our heads at the one accompanying Rihanna’s story. It reads, “Oh Fame, Family And How She Really Feels About Her Curves.” Only Vogue would look at the svelte Rihanna and see curves! And what exactly is the meaning of the over-used curves anyway? I can’t think of too many women, including very skinny supermodels, who don’t have some.
