Every couple of years espadrilles come into fashion’s consciousness as a shoe of the moment. Summer 2011 is one such season  where espadrilles are more than ever present.  I almost declared the clogs trend to be lost on me,  I admire them from afar, but  the most part,  most styles are too clunky and,  in my opinion not very flattering.
