There have been sneak peeks of Jesse Jo Stark’s collabo with Vans and here is a video giving a look into the life of the California-born designer and singer. Up until this point , Van’s collaborations with women have been shoe-focused, but this one  includes a backpack, tees, lace-trimmed shorts, creepers(!) and sneakers.

Some Classic Vans slip-on styles in dusty blue and pink, which couldn’t be more perfect for Summer 2011 have just landed at Concepts.

Here is one for all the Hello Kitty fans out there. There sure is not much that the comic figure from Japan has not been on yet and this summer you will see a small sneaker collection from Vans featuring Hello Kitty. The line-up  includes the Slip-On, the Sk8 Hi D-Lo, and another lace-up low top sneaker. All three sneakers feature heavy all-over Hello Kitty designs. The sneakers will be released June 2011 at Vans stores, in the Vans online store and also at select Sanrio boutiques and Sanrio.com.

The Vans for girls design department continues to kick out the gems, this time with a pair of Authentic Lo Pro tennies, available in either leopard or zebra print. Available via Extrabutteryny. More looks on the next page.

We covered the collaboration between Vans and Brooklyn-born singer Santigold and now Vans has more info about the launch on its site, including locations where the shoes can be purchased, plus a contest for a free autographed pair. There’s also an interview and here is a taste of some of Santigold’s responses:

Vans: Who is your favorite designer right now?
Santigold: I usually wear a lot of vintage because it’s such a good feeling when you find something good, that you know no one else has. But Alexander Wang, Marc Jacobs and Jeremy Scott have been holding my closet down for the past five years.
Vans: Favorite musicians you grew up admiring?
Santigold: Nina Simone, Devo, The Smiths, Bad Brains.

When it launched just over a year ago, Vans “Sophie” became something of an instant classic, which is saying a lot given the brand’s deeply rooted heritage in skate kicks! Vans recently got together with actress Lucy Hale for a casual photo shoot at its Irvine, Calif., store. Hale is best known for her role in the tv series “Pretty Little Liars.” In this image, she’s wearing one of our favorite 2010 launches from Vans, the Sophie saddle shoe. This comes via Vansgirlsblog. There isn’t a lot of info accompanying the sneak peek images of  the Vans X Santigold perforated high-tops shown above, just that they have a Spring 2011 launch date. I’m guessing they will be available in other colors, especially given the Spring launch, but we shall see. One more image after the flip, more at Highsnobiety.
