We were all mesmerized by their collaboration last year, but this Spring, clutch the pearls . United Nude and Iris van Herpen have taken ou breath away with chains and weaving that makes us want to be their  fashion slaves:

Two versions of a sculptural high-heeled platform ankle bootie: the first, a complex weave of leather lace detailing; the second, elegantly draped with thin chains. The intricacy and precision of these creations require them to be 100% hand crafted in the most luxurious of leathers. Last week we showed the United Nude shoe featured in the Threeasfour NY Fashion Week runway show. And while visiting the brand’s booth at the Platform section of Magic in Las Vegas last week, we also got a sneak peek of the Autumn 2011  line, which includes this visual stunner. More than just a shoe, it’s wearable art, which speaks to desinger Rem D. Koolhaas’s architectural DNA as much as anything he’s ever designed.

Just discovered that one of our fave shoe brands, the artful United Nude, provided the footwear for Three As Four’s New York Fashion Week runway show. There was an musical theme to the show, including accessories made fromviolins, and shoe company United Nude chimed in with shoes featuring tuning forks!
