Inside The Tommy Hilfiger Global Flagship Store
When we were invited to visit the new Tommy Hilfiger store on fifth avenue , in NYC . I was very curious to see what this brand who made a killing in the nineties would translate their aesthetic in a 4 floor retail space of 22,000 square feet. The result is impressive. Having had a xtensive background in visual merchandising i found myself in awe of all the themes developed in each floor and of course it’s flawless execution by Trent Wisehart and his team. I have always thought that the Tommy Hilfiger label was always in delicate spot in the market as their theme of “Americana “can be identified with at least two other brands I can think of.
The Tommy Hilfiger global flagship is a step in a bold new direction, and we cannot wait to see how the brand will progress going forward, because we all know it takes more than a hot store to build a brand that will stand the test of time and fickle trends.
