NYFW: Thom Browne Womenswear Spring/Summer 2013

Thom Browne is known for his extravagant creations. For NYFW, he totally lives up to his name and presented the Spring 2013 collection in the New York Public Library with a wonderful triadic ballet interpretation inspired by Oskar Schlemmer. The models all resembled mime artists with white painted faces, presenting stunning plaid dresses, plain gray suits, plaid gray coats and constricting gray dresses with scalloped hems that perfectly suited in the scene. All models were standing on a spiral-painted platform, as the men walked around and spun them like carousels. This show will definitely stay in mind. We spotted some behind the scenes imagery over at Dazed Digital.Take a look on the next page.
