Lady Gaga Vogue March Cover And Editorial

The little monsters are going to be happy today. A crisp and clear image of Lady Gaga on the cover of March’s Vogue has arrived, along with the interior editorial. It’s shot by Mario Testino and while I’m yet not sure who styled her by Tonne Goodman, the theme is largely modern flapper, brought to the forefront via her pink bob wig, bleached out eyebrows and darkly purple lips. And the clothes–with the exception of the ball gowns–speak to that feel, too, and are freer and more effortless than what we’ve come to expect from Gaga. All in all very nicely done, especially when one considers that a bad girl of Gaga’s magnitude is somewhat–amazingly enough–virgin territory for a U.S. Vogue cover story. See the editorial on the next page. [UPDATE: Featured labels include Alexander McQueen, Louis Vuitton, Haider Ackermann and others.] Via Vogue.
