Sally Singer x Maki Sakamoto ‘Taxi Cab Seat’ Nail Art

Nowness is featuring an article whose theme is conceptual nail art as designed by fashion editor Sally Singer in collaboration with Manhattan-based nail artist & friend to HighSnobette Maki Sakamoto The design above was inspired by taxi cab beaded seat covers. Says Singer:
“I wanted a really textural nail, because for me that’s the most interesting—those strange, matte textures like the wooden beaded coverings on New York taxi driver’s seats. This would look good with Burberry’s spring collection.”
