Adidas kicked-off its relaunch of the Superstar yesterday. The relaunch is being done in conjunction with Facebook, where you can finds all sorts of photos and videos and all the other things that sneakerheads love.

Here’s one project that was part of the launch: Adidas created giant Superstars and had artists from Upper Playground and Surface to Air use them as a canvas/wall.

And I don’t know about you, but I’m sort of mad at Adidas right now The Superstar is an iconic style and I feel like over the past few years, Adidas has been pimping it out like a workhorse ho, with no consideration for its status as hip-hop royalty. I mean this is what, at least the 3rd time they’ve done some special, “limited” program centered around the Superstar?? Damn shame if you ask me.
