We had the opportunity to preview Raif’s upcoming knitwear collection this past week in New York. Titled “Silent Presence,” the rich knits have a subtle  lux outdoorsy feel. A favorite was the Fair Isle above with an Army/Navy hood attachment. Take a closer look on the next page and view a short documentary on designer Raif Adelberg via his collaboration with Stussy.

Liking the poncho thing but want to minimize the hippie vibe? Stussy has you covered with a “Moto” poncho that gives the look an edge. This baby is 80 percent lambswool to make it extra cozy and soft.

To celebrate their collaboration Stussy and Made Me bring you the video of  “Poly Styrofoam,” a rocker chick with attitude. We can’t stop smiling!

That Stussy collaboration with Ked we were drooling over is now at retail. The toe is tapered and it features a espadrille-inspired rope wrap around the bottom. Priced at $63, it also comes in white.

Spiderman, Spiderman…does whatever a spider can. Spins a web, any size, Catches thieves just like flies. Look out! Here comes the Spiderman. Is he strong? Listen bud—he’s got radioactive blood. Can he swing from a thread? Take a look overhead. Hey there! There goes the Spiderman.

The collaboration between Stussy and Marvel has finally hit retail. We’ve annointed Spidey as our chosen example, but if you visit Colette, we’re talking Dr. Strange, Wolverine, She Hulk, and so many more.

Stussy is pleased to present the Stussy Womens Spring/Summer 2011 Lookbook shot and directed by photographer Shaniqwa Jarvis. New York native Jarvis, who has spent the last five years living between Los Angeles and London, gives us a behind the scenes look infused with a hyper-real summer day. The mood was inspired by movement, colors and textures that capture the essence of Stussy and Southern California.

Don’t know why but I have a feeling this collaboration between Stussy and Keds called “Taper Toe Champion” is going to be a hit. There’s just something very handsome and just slightly different enough about the pointy toe shape, and the eyelets are neat, too.  According to press, the silhouette you see here hasn’t been produced by Ked’s since the 60s. And you can’t make it out in this image, but these kicks are also “espadrille-inspired” and include a rope trim. We’ve received some early images from a collaboration between two street savvy brands, Stussy and Erin Magee’s Mademe, with an “S + M Fanclub” logo theme. No details yet on when and where it will drop but stay tuned. So far it looks hot! A couple more images on the next page.

Here is a look at Stussy’s women’s collection for Spring 2011. It’s very much a basic design and neutral color story compared with some of the bold cuts and prints of Spring 2010. And the denim features a mid-rise with flairs and there are trousers. I would have like a tad more flair, but meh, this is probably what stressed out retailers these days are demanding. The Stussy/Hellz  Bellz “Ladies First” collabo we mentioned on the site earlier this week is now live in Stussy Chapter stores. A handful of other streetwear retailers will carry pieces of it as well. Gotta give Stussy props for the smartness of this collabo–it youthens its brand up and enables Stussy to reach women to a degree that it would struggle to do on its own.  Natch, rubbing shoulders with the all-time great Stussy is a lovely look for HellzBellz, too!
