I’m really loving where women’s fashion sandals, especially flats, are these days trend-wise. If you think back on the desert were lost in a mere two or three seasons ago when rubber flip-flops dominated and Havainos were a major fashion statement, the choices in comparison now are borderline spectacular, and I have a felling that Spring 2009 promises to be even more creative and fun. While at Magic, I photographed some sandals that I liked. There were so many more that I didn’t get a chance to snap for whatever reason (like the pair of Gucci thongs that didn’t make it ’cause my dumb battery ran out!)

Alex and Chloe just introduced us to their Line of Sunglasses,Although I ‘m not usually a fan of a ceratain retro brand that shall remain nameless …I have the say that the details on Alex and Chloe Shades are pretty cool..

This style is called The Cape Town…And of course the Blue reminds me of the ocean that I miss so Much as it is pouring Rain in NYC..uugh!!!

Creative Rec is still doing it and it’s one of the few sneaker brands that takes designing for ladies as seriously as it does for the fellas. I’m told the following group represent the best of spring 2008:

^^^The baddest one of all. This Gallo Hi is just plain ridiculous (I repeat, Ree.Dick.You.Less) and it’s the one in the line-up that wins this brand HighSnobettiest item of the day!

Last week Lois an I got to meet Rolland Berry through a little shinding Reebok put together…we could not take pictures!!!!!  but this video gives you a sneak peak into what Rolland has been cooking up for Reebok..the stuff is pretty impressive! and Rolland himself is definitely on top of his game..Talented,fun and quite  an intelligent Business Man …He knows wassup!

On our recent visit to Prada today Lois and I were in awe of the pants featured in their Spring 08 line.And noticed the fact that they have not been prominently featured in many US  mainstream editorials ..granted it’s still early in the season but the pants are super sleek and dramatically open at the bottom..all you need is a tank top  and some flats and you are Fly..

Hellz Bellz has in no time become one of the leading brands in the womens streetwear markets. They have quickly expanded their cut & sew portion of the collection and build a strong brand.

Their Spring 2008 collection offers a good cut & sew offering as well as strong graphic t-shirts, all helping to further build their very own style.

Vans presents their new Vault Spring 2008 range, with the theme “Color Theory”. The new collection presents sneakers in a variety of colors and textures, inspired by art and the counter-culture movement of skateboarding and surfing. Stylistic simplicity, designer textiles and patterns make their way onto the Vans classics.

The collection as usual has some strong pieces in it. We also enjoy very much the wide range of simple sneakers without designs or patterns.
