Sorel teams up with Anna Sui on the “Tofino” boot that manages to be both cozy and fashionable. Marked with Sui’s rose insignia on the outside pull tab loop and her logo on the tongue, just 120 of these boots were made (and each are detailed with a serial number) and they launched yesterday at Isetan in Tokyo, and Anna Sui’s SoHo boutique.

We featured Sorel’s fall lookbook last week but wanted to put a little added shine on this “Joan of Artic Reserve,” boot. It’s a limited edition style, which will sell at select retailers. Priced at $400, it features hair-on leather with a plush cuff and Swarovski crystals on the eyelets.

Rugged outdoor boot looks are exploding as a trend and over the past few years Sorel has been a leader in creating looks for women that hang on to the brand’s over-50-year-old heritage while still managing to be fly and fashionable. I’m sounding like a p.r. rep, but truely, this is one of my favorite brands for 2010. P.S., no boots were received in exchange for this post!
