Sonya Rykiel presents a contemporary collection featuring essential pieces for the colder season in Rykiel signature colors red, blue and navy. Knitwear in all variations, autumnal inspired prints and woven pieces worked into menswear inspired silhouettes, such as suit jackets, slightly oversized trousers which are all just as adorable as the selection of dresses.

Colette along with DC Comics has invited a bunch of fashion’s heaviest hitters to celebrate the publishing house’s 75th anniversary by collaborating on a design inspired by a DC Comic super hero.  A Pierre Hardy bag  inspired by Clark Kent’s alter ego is featured on this page, and on the next page is a Wonder Woman dress by Sonia Rykiel, driving gloves by Karl Lagerfeld, tee-shirts by My Face and Balmain, plus a super cool Wonder Woman headband by Maison Michel and some sunglasses by Thierry Lasry.  

When I think of all the work the work that goes into putting fashion shows together, I wonder why stations like the  style network for example don’t just feature shows on their regular programming. Then again maybe there are not enough fashion fiends  like yours truly out there who would watch… In that spirit enjoy a look at one of the grande dames of pret-a-porter  in Paris Sonia Rykiel   Spring/Summer 2010.

If there was ever a bag that could " dress up" an outfit it would be the Sonia Rykiel  Dita Shoulder Bag. Small enough to not get cluttery at night but big enough for back-up flats…
