Melody Ehsani ‘Somebody’ I.D. Bracelet

Speaking of accessory designer Melody Ehsani, I’m seeing that some of her gold-plated jewellery designs like this “Somebody” i.d. bracelet are hitting her store (including the necklace Rihanna wore in the previous post). This is a direction I really like for her, it makes sense given her personal aesthetic but I think the look of the gold-plated line is especially interesting because its informed by a pop-art sensibility, which simultaneously has inspired her material and design sensibility until now.  So in other words, it’s cool that the gold came as a sort of phase two for Ehsani because the pieces were elevated by what she learned in phase one.
