One of our fave shoe etailers Solestruck has launched a “Summer Essentials” lookbook, highlighting the key shoe styles for the upcoming warm weather months and it really does nail every one, highlighting wedges, flatforms, neons, slippers (see above image–be still my beating heart!) and flat booties.

We’re told that the wildly popular over-the-knee “Slash Tick” Jeffrey Campbell boot, which we had an exclusive look at back in February, is now back in stock at SoleStruck. Priced at $189, it sold out once already and will probably do so again.

After visiting the Compass shoe show earlier in the week, I stopped by FFANY, which is a much more traditional sort of show shoe held in the Hilton, as well as brand showrooms.  The Jeffrey Campbell suite was packed to the rafters and full of manic energy as usual, but I figured I ‘d try my luck and ask if I could photograph anything. Normally the reps say no, but thank my lucky stars this time they said yes! And look at the FIIIIRE boot they let me shoot! S0-so hot. And it slips right on, easy as pie. It’s called the “Slash-Tick” and you’ll be able to purchase it April 25th at Solestruck.
