‘Member last week I put up all those shots of the Ontisuka Tiger Tokidoki collabo shoes? Well I took other images as well, but I took a little time out from this site so I’m just getting them up today. One of the things Onitsuka is doing for spring is this Chinese-astrology-inspired line. I must say, the art of some of these shoes is quite amazing. Check out this one:

After seeing the DC’s women’s S/S09 shoes and clothing collection I was about read to head out when I was stopped in my tracks by the DC Kids collection. Can I just restate for about the fourth time how jealous I am of all of you who have kids that are still wee? ‘Cause I am. Hate you all. Back in my son’s baby days, the only options were Jordans and truth be told I was always too flat busted to ever cop him a pair.

^^I wanna cry. Seriously. Mommies whose kids are approaching grown, I know you know what I’m talking about.

DC Shoes spring line looks great–a little bit of something for everyone–canvas skimmers, lows and (still my personal fave) hightops. Kudos to DC for designing for women and not just taking down their most popular men’s styles and coloring them in with a pink crayon. There’s no denying that these dotted mids with the assymetrical laces and buttons on the strap are strictly made for the ladies and only the seriously stylish ones at that.

I finally got to see the latest Onitsuka Tiger Tokidoki collabo kicks, which will drop in February and March 2009. This time the collection includes a range of sport flats, which are just adorable. Overall I’d say the designs are more understated that the last batch, which is in keeping with the latest sneaker colorway trends.

The shoes are packed in that box. Cute, right??

It’s been a while since I’ve seen an item to give HighSnobettiest status to, but the minute I saw these kicks by the newly-launched Booji House, it was game.set.match! Look at the dollar-dollar-bill holder….OMG!! So much for it being a slow news day!!

It’s adorable how Chris seems to have brought out a more kiddish side of Rihanna and in these images she looks relaxed and cute in her Nike sweats and sneakers, but  RihRih is no newbie to the world of sneakers (which is part of why we lover her style, natch!). Long before she hooked up with Chris (publically anyway) we had images of her sporting a pair of dark denim straight legs with a pair of Nike Vandals.

We posted about Heyday for the first time last week. Natch, we visited with the brand while we were at the show. The brand still doesn’t have a line specifically sized for women, though designer Darin Hager is totally in tune with the love women have for kicks, and includes chicks with kicks among his promotional images. He was also quick to serve up three Spring ‘09 styles he thought women would appreciate:

A minute back I mentioned that Creative Rec had some adorable kid’s shoes, which match up with the adults. While at Project, I was able to snap some of those cute combos:

Ever since the U.S.-based Fila got taken over by the Korea-based Fila a year or so back, it’s been on an upward swing. Shoe design got an upgrade and it signed perfect-fit rap artist, Nasir Jones. The company is just now delving into women’s kicks (cute, albeit a tad heavy on the Freestyle inspiration), but it was this purple track jacket that stole my heart. Maybe it was the over-airconditioned halls of Project, but there’s just something so snuggly about it!

As early as I can remember, Christian Lacroix has always been a  serious couture reference ,although you can agree, that in the US he’s been overshadowed by the media’s fascination with the Lagerfelds and Gallianos.Nonetheless the man is an Icon who unlike most High end fashion Folks truly gets  the crossover of Fashion & Sneakers,gotta love that:
