Shu Uemura Teased-Out Pony Tails

In what is now an official trend for my posts today–the art of contrast–haircare line Shu Uemura Art of Hair were responsible for the sleek/frizzy pony tails shown here for Andy & Debb’s New York Fashion Week runway show. It’s neat because it’s so simple but it also reminds me of what is pretty much an everyday style for a lot of New York City’s Latinas, whose super slicked-back hair that lets loose and does its things post hairband has always been a great, distinct look.
