Our most sophisticated brother site, Selectism, has a super adorable editorial titled, ‘Kickin’ It With Your Girlfriend,” highlighting shots of men’s and women’s footwear presented as duos. That’s one example above and there are more images of this fun and different shoot here.

We attented the Launch party of the Adidas Black Tie last week. Hosted by David Z and Adidas at the swanky Goldbar. This was probably be the best "sneaker" launch party this year with the venue being appropriate for the theme,the crowd being fun ,and actually dress-up.

When we heard of the theme and the black tie dress code we were curious to see if the men would  actually suit up, (cause for the most part the ladies get decked out)and lo and behold they did.  And by the look of itseemed like most of our downtown scenesters read selectism!The best dressed man had to be Ronnie Fieg , clad in Hugo Boss and the Signature Adidas Black Tie Shell Toes.
