To celebrate the 41st anniversary of Earth Day (a little late), Rogan Gregory and Scott Mackinlay Hahn’s Loomstate once again partnered with Hisham Akira Baroocha on a group  musical performance. While last year’s 40 Drum Circle had us hooked, this year’s focus was on strings. The musical emsemble called 41 Strings included  guests Nick Zinner and Brian Chase of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Ben Vida of Soft Circle. Take a look at the Earth Day Celebration hosted by  Rogan Gregory  and Scott Mackinlay  Hahn of Loomstate at Good Units in the Hudson Hotel yesterday. The video above  highlights the ‘rain dance’ almost tribal  atmosphere created by a 40 drum ensemble led by Hisham Akira Bharoocha, it  literally took the attendants to another world.
