As a realistic fashion lover the protocol is supposed to be that you admire your favorite designers creations but always leave space for a little “I don’t like this” moment. With Rick Owens, I don’t think I can ever have that moment , whatever he does I find a way to rationalize and fall in love ( Is that an obsession?). Anyway, while the  organza trimmed wedges  can come off  as  a lot of shoe when footwear has gotten much lighter and sleek for Spring 2011, I find  the  flirty fabric makes up for the massiveness of the black wedge. Styling them with a one-shouldered dress like you can see on the flip is too on point to dislike, via Net-a-porter.

An all time favorite which I will admit to beeing slighly obsessed with, Rick Owens can do no wrong in my world. The “Chai” dress above available in jade and in black at ln-cc is too simple and pretty to ignore, although I’d recommend an alternate belt choice. View in more angles on the next page.

This is why Rick Owens  ranks to the top of my list, not only does he make my drapy sexy clothing in muted colors  dream come true but now he indulges my tentency to be scissor happy and cut-up my clothes to make them more “interesting” with this luxurious cashmere sweater. The Rick Owens  Hidden Sandal   on a really basic  functionality level, could be  the answer to pedicure-less toes! But, being a fan of Mr. Owens and his aesthetic, I could see how over time, the goal might be that the suede covering would get frayed and destroyed,creating  a  truly unique look .Think  edgy tribal.
