Twoin is a new collection by New-York based twin designers Iku and Nori. For Spring/Summer  2012 the twin’s playful approach to clothing blends  nautical details with army navy surplus and prairie flowers. Today we present the very cool collection by Japanese-based Hideaki Sakaguchi The Dress & Co. The label features modern sportswear with an edge, featuring great details we love like overlaid collars (above), subtle hardware and menswear silhouettes constrasted with feminine sheer lace pieces. Unsing shapes and deconstruction as a ground work for its collection, Japan-based Anrealage  designs a shirt made to become a sphere, while a trench becomes a cube. We had to also pause and admire the patchwork outerwear (above), with dried flower buttons and twisted seams. While Lois has long been an admirer of  plushy or furry things, I somewhat resisted apparel and accessories that to me were too closely related to teddy bears. Nonetheless, the cold weather we’ve been consistently getting in New York makes Shida Tatsuya’s creations now wearable to me. Having perfected the art of faux, the label experiments in textures and colors,  making embracing furry things a reality. Based in Japan and designed by Ryo Katori, Rusty Thought creates accessories with the intent of them lasting  a lifetime. Inspired by nature religious  symbols we found the overall eccentricity of the bird and flower pins too enchanting to ignore.
