Burberry last week released a video showcasing its heavy lifters for spring: raincoats and rainboots with lots and lots of the company’s trademark plaid.

The kind  of rubber boots  that are sleek enough to not look like rain boots is still very rare as rain boots are often too bright or sporty . Hopefully the amount of rain in NYC this summer will inspire more labels to include more transitional rain friendly styles. The Givenchy Rubber Cowboy   boots are a great example of  what can be done. Available at Saks.
