Ever met someone so innately cool, talented and knowledgeable of their craft that all you wanted to do was just sit and listen to their wisdom? That is sort of how we feel about  designer/artist Raif Adelberg. For the past couple of years the Canadian native has been creating, customizing apparel, opining stores and exhibiting at various art galleries yet, still manages to stay known only to those in the know.  His Autumn/Winter 2012 collection tiled ‘Silent Presence’ was featured on Stylelikeu a few months ago, so we just had to share and give you the opportunity to get better acquainted with Raif Adelberg, his designs and creative point of view. Artist and designer  Raif Adelberg’s collections  convey a  discrete luxury that has made him a favorite of ours. We popped into his men’s presentation today to give you a little peek of some men’s knits and a preview of women’s.  More images to come!

We had the opportunity to preview Raif’s upcoming knitwear collection this past week in New York. Titled “Silent Presence,” the rich knits have a subtle  lux outdoorsy feel. Inspired by his grandmother’s designs, Raif Adelberg’s handspun cashmere sweaters have been the object of lust of many at the amazing Nick Wooster installation at Project. It’s the sweater we cannot stop touching , we want to sleep in, wear all day and pretty much hold on to foreva. Needless to say the Snobettes are smitten.For more info go here.
