Celine cover PFW: Céline Autumn/Winter 2013
It’s Phoebe Philo’s turn at Céline to give her version of the contemporary woman. In shades of white, powder pink, gray, navy, new silhouettes appear in roundness. Everything was so effortless and so wearable. The collection gives pride to enveloping coats, lightly finishing in a trapeze with slits on the side and rounded sleeves. Not to forget the incredible shoes and accessories that deserve at least as much attention as the clothing. THE SHOES!

Balenciaga Runway PFW 13 PFW: Alexander Wang Makes His Balenciaga Debut
Back in November the 29-year-old designer was named creative director of Balenciaga and replaced Nicolas Ghesquière whose contribution to the fashion  house made  it what it  is today. There were many discussions surrounding his suitability for the role,  and whether he would be able to keep in step with the labels aesthetic. What he showed this morning at his runway debut for Balenciaga was impressive and not only proved himself to be ready for couture but also satisfied everyone attending the show.

Anna Wintour even said:

“I am very proud. It was such a restrained show. I thought everything was wearable, with obviously lots of bows to Balenciaga himself. I thought it was a very smart way to start, bu not giving too many fireworks.”

H&M Celebrates Runway Comeback At Paris Fashion Week

28 February 2013, 12.43 | Posted in Fashion Week, Runway Show | 4 comments »

It has been eight years since H&M presented a runway show for its signature label. In 2013 the Swedish fashion retailer now decided to celebrate their runway comeback and showed their upcoming Autumn/WInter collection along Paris Fashion Week. With an elaborated show on the grounds of Musse Rodin, H&M gave all attendants the opportunity to take a glance at the collection for next Autumn, that offers a bold mix of classic silhouettes and feminine dresses. The clothes didn’t show anything that we haven’t seen at this fashion week but anyway managed to keep up with the ‘big’ ones.

Among the guests were Ashley Olsen, Chloe Moretz and Emma Roberts just to name a few. Take yourself a look at what happened yesterday by watching the video here above. Enjoy!

OWM 1 WOMAN Show Paris: Objects Without Meaning Spring/Summer 2013

Here is a first look on the Spring/Summer collection 2013 from Object Without Meaning. Known for its use of only high quality materials the brand is representing the simplicity of materials and form.

The aesthetic is born out of ambivalence for our surroundings and an express need for energy, simplicity, and grace. We create a clean slate to be filled by only the most considered elements. Whereas fashions dictate the lives of masses, Objects Without Meaning leave the air clear for individuals to express their indicative nature. We accept the honesty of the present. We have no heritage, no story to tell. O-M represents nothing more than the beautiful simplicity of its materials and form.

For Spring/Summer 2013 O-M focussed on the wind element and will furnish a selection of colorful zip jackets, tees, and shorts. Not to forget its selection of jeans that just suit so well and become even more comfortable the longer you wear them. Check out our favourite pieces on the next page.

A few days ago we were showing you the extravagant ‘Hola-Hoop’ bag from Chanels Spring/Summer 2013 collection presented last week in Paris. The overall feedback was quite positive allthough nobody really knew how to use of the bulky handbag. Maestro Karl Lagerfeld himself now has the answer for you:

“You need space for the beach towel. Then you can put it into the sand and hang things on it.”

Miu Miu front PFW: Miu Miu Runway Spring 2013

During Paris Fashion Week, Miuccia Prada presented a rather wicked line for Miu Miu’s Spring 2013 collection. Coats made of latex, leather and denim over straight-line yet-lose-fitting skirts were heightened with paint-splash flower prints. Over-sized furs in various colors were more discreet, with colors made to blend with the clothing they covered. Once again a very female collection for the sophisticated women.

Take a glimpse at our favorite looks on the next page.

Céline Spring/Summer 2013 Runway & The Shoes!

Could it be that Phoebe Philo’s Spring 2013  for Céline mark a trend towards a more comfortable side of fashion? While we highly doubt that women will give up their heels in lieu of mink slides, the nonchalance of the looks is kind of ballsy and refreshing. While the runway show will highlights the very desirable apparel hop over on the next page for some furry shoe and my favorite so far, the red painted toes pumps! via Style.
