While visiting with CreativeRec, p.r. rep Carrie wanted to know if we cover kids, and our answer was an emphatic yes ’cause I know for a fact that some of our readers have babies and like to keep them laced up. My son is past the point where I can put him in a pair of awwww-look-how-cute-those-are sneakers, but Mommies who still have little boo-boos have more options than ever.

Creative Rec has a full line of sneakers for boys and for spring it launches a line for girls! I couldn’t photograph them, but wait ’til you see!! So cute and they’re exact take downs of the grown-up’s styles so you and baby girl can totaly coordinate!

In the world of women’s kicks, there are two brands that are currently killing it. One of them is The Big Swooshy and the other is Creative Rec. A couple years back I was hearing from local BK sneakers stores that Creative’s women’s product was selling back to the wall and judging by the looks of what the brand is serving up for holiday their roll will continue:

On an altogether different note, while we were at the Creative Rec showroom, me, Samia and Creative Rec p.r. champ Carrie had a fun chat about how the major fashion mags basically shun the whole concept of chicks in kicks. And all I can say is that even as their circulation numbers drop through the floor, I hope they stay stupid ’cause it only means more readers for us!

If life could be a dream, these are the kicks you would wear in it. What can I say, with women’s product these days, Nike is just killing it.

Converse is celebrating its 100th year anniversary and natch, they’ve hooked up with some indie-cool artists as a way to promote the event. If you visit the site, you can download "My Drive Thru," a song that went live yesterday and includes contributions from N.E.R.D., Santogold and The Strokes Julian Casablancas. A video and behind-the-scenes imagery isn’t on the site yet, but will be soon.

If you don’t want to download the song, someone already uploaded the music up to YouTube. It’s aiiight, in my opinion. The beat is great, but by the middle it sounds like way to many cooks were meddling in the kitchen.

For whatever reason, our fearless leader, David, was fishing around The Finish Line today and came up with a couple of snappy items. Earlier in the day he sent me the purple, hi Nike All Courts, and not long after that he sent the link to these super cute pink Nike Dunks.

Highsnobiety featured the Launch of the St Pauli Dunk pack in honor of the St Pauli Football Club.( the Hi top is my fave!)You gotta give props to  Nike for recognizing a Football Club that is known for it’s stance against racism,sexism and homophobia.

In the US we have yet to have a countrywide passion for "Le Football " the Most Beautiful game in my opinion…

If you know anything about Germans and soccer you know it’s no Joke,How interesting was it to know that The St.Pauli FC known as a team with a Rebellious/punk  streak.They open every home game with AC/DC’s  Hell’s Bells .And they have the Most Female Supporters out of all the other Soccer teams in Germany.

The team has some pretty cool apparel sold on their site
