The Wookie of the Nike family, Nike launches its Footscape Woven Chukka Motion in a leopard print. Highsnobiety tells us this particular style is part of Nike’s 11K pack and is hitting stores now.

The Nike Racquette QS is a women’s tennis-inspired shoe based on one of Nike’s first performance tennis shoes launched in 1975, the “Racquette,” but now modernized with a higher design than its predecessor. The retro upper is built with a feminine appeal featuring a blucher toe construction to allow for a comfortable fit. The upper padding and reinforcement has been removed for this quick strike version, giving the shoe a comfortable and deconstructed look. An updated hobnail outsole design provides versatile traction for a variety of surfaces. This classic design harkening back to Nike’s early heritage in tennis is finished off with a sleek cup-sole construction featuring a phylon heel wedge for added cushioning. Minimalist design and superb comfort of the “Racquette” 3/4 Premium is made for the women who appreciates the retro aesthetic and comfort of the mid-seventies tennis shoe.

Very much in step with this season’s love affair with stripes, Chanel offers a “Petit Shopping” bag, as part of a The Away Project, a shop in shop organized by Nike and Colette in an effort to celebrate France’s national soccer team, which is sponsored by Nike. Other labels in on the stripiness include Comme des Garçons, Hermès, Ladurée, Longchamp, MontBlanc, Swatch, Trousselier and Yves Saint Laurent.

Concepts boutique in Cambridge, Mass., has a couple of new offerings for the ladies. One is a red, polka-dot canvas mid with retro appeal, the other speaks to the sneaker trend-of-the-moment, a thoroughly modern lightweight running shoe (above). See the mid on the next page.

All kinds of drama and debate came out a post we did a couple weeks ago on high-heel Nike Dunks, and now we present a pair of Nike clogs. No worries though Nike purists, these are from Nike78, a design site “using sport as inspiration.” Via Design-fetish.

Available at various retailers this months is the latest Valentine’s Day women’s sneaker by Nike, the QS Amor, which thankfully does not throw pink all over the place, but instead chooses to reflect love in various little tattoo-like inscriptions. Via Kicksaholic.
