Whenever I see a celeb this decked out in one brand, it’s hard not to wonder whether or not an exchange of money is involved beyond the free garments. I mean, let’s be serious, for females, Rihanna is about as bankable as Sean Carter is for males. It’s a good look nonetheless, grey sweats are the ultimate chic look these days, and she sets them off nicely with what looks like a pair of Nike Air Max 2009 in either an extremely limited flourescent colorway or one that is soon to come. This is probably the sportswear collection all the women with an affinity for sport/street gear will love. Nike goes back to basics with sleek shapes and great details on apparel and footwear that makes this 6.0 collection highly covetable. On the next page a few of the pieces we’ll be fiending for.There’s even a zip-up bustier top!

Nike and Liberty have teamed up to create four new sneakers for Spring/Summer 09. Two versions of the Blazer will each feature one fabric with a solid draping while the Nike Hi Dunk will use multiple fabrics creating a patchwork effect. Liberty is known for delicate color palettes and floral prints, this mixed with Nike’s clean aesthetic is sure to gain some attention.

Nike’s ACG line was looking good at the Outdoor Retailer conference in Salt Lake City this past weekend.

This Spring 2009 Nike introduces a new Dunk High – the Dunk Skinny Super High. The womens sneaker is a slimmer and higher version of the classic Dunk High. Nike basically updated the sneaker according to the latest trends in footwear. The first pack of the sneaker consists of three fading colorways.

Thanks to new blogging buddy TooManyTights, I’ve learned that THE hot leggings these days in Australia (and probably other places, too!) are Sass & Bide’s rat leggings. They look sort of like regular old leggings on first examine, but there’s this whole rouching thing going on with the inseam, which is pretty hot.

A clump of Nike shoes just arrived at West sneaker boutique, located in Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Terrorist-fist pump to owner Lester, who is an all around good guy and not at all your typical snot-nosed boutique owner, (who, god knows where they ever get the balls to be that way in the first place!)

^^I like the colors in these: the sea-foam blue Swoosh, the royal purple laces, the flourescent bottoms, very nice. Do I like the skinny Velcro straps? Not so sure about those.

There’s another pair on the other side, good for those who like that Army/Navy feel.

The weather–sadly–is getting cooler and alas it is time once agan to wear real shoes. This fall I find myself more in the mood for lows. Don’t know why that is, it just is. I like these Dunks by Nike.  The color combos are nice and I like the style name too: Black-Berry-Volt. And ladies, they were made especially just for you.

I bought these mini Nike Dunks for a baby girl I may never even meet, much less see pictures of. Yes, people, that’s how desperate I am to experience the cute-sneaker-buying experience I was deprived of with my own son!
