Enjoy a look at the few snaps we took tonight at Henrik Vibskov’s New York store opening. The intimate space was packed to the brim with the party overflowing unto the streets. On the design side the space is cozy yet modern, and understated where we can even see a slight hints  from the decor of his Autumn 2011 presentation. Take a peek on the flip.

Here’s another image from opening night at the NY TopShop launch party, where we get a peak of the shoe offerings. I’m not overwhelmed by what I’m what I’m seeing here, people.  Then again, I am super picky about my shoes in that I will spend money I don’t have to obtain ones that both standout from a design perspective and use high quality materials.

Btw, the guy in the image is Sir Philip Green, who owns TopShop and is INSANELY wealthy. According to Wiki, he is Britain’s seventh richest man! I wonder if that includes Queenie??

A clump of Nike shoes just arrived at West sneaker boutique, located in Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Terrorist-fist pump to owner Lester, who is an all around good guy and not at all your typical snot-nosed boutique owner, (who, god knows where they ever get the balls to be that way in the first place!)

^^I like the colors in these: the sea-foam blue Swoosh, the royal purple laces, the flourescent bottoms, very nice. Do I like the skinny Velcro straps? Not so sure about those.

There’s another pair on the other side, good for those who like that Army/Navy feel.

I’m not sure why, but at WireImage, the only images featured from the Marc Jacobs show, aka the most-coveted NY Fashion Week ticket in town, were some shots of shoes and the rich and famous backstage. Oh well, when it comes to Marky-Marc, we’ll take whatever shreds we can get!

^^Interesting. The ones in the center remind me of a praying mantis for some reason.

UPDATE: Marc has a video of S/S 09 on his site. It’s beautiful. The overall look is a tad buttoned up for my tastes, but almost every outfit includes an item, whether a jacket, bag or skirt, that is highly covetable. I think he got yelled at by critics for being too conservative in his last show so maybe this is an answer to that.

On the flip, images of Vic Beckham sporting her new pixie, plus her, Marc and Jennie from the Block all schvitzing. Even the rich and famous sweat.

Next up from my visit to FFANY is NoMass, a brand-spanking new men’s and women’s shoe line. I had no introduction to this company other than I passed their suite (one part of the show was held in hotel rooms at the New York Hilton) and their shoes caught my eye. Unlike almost everyone else at the show, they were actually taking some chances!

Here was my fave, no surprise part of it is white and features patent leather!:

^^I wanna say this one is called Raine. The line launches in the fall (though I think this one is spring 2009) and I’m told you should be able to purchase it on Zappos.

^^Don’t know the name of these, but they are super fun and a perfect denim match up.

The shoes will be priced from $75 to $135 and they’re leather-lined!
