We had fun playing with phrases  and words from an upcoming movie about Smurfette, set  in Paris.  Some highlights  include the “Schtroumpfette Paris” (Smurfette in French) top above, the “Vials of Blue Essence” sweatshirt, the “La La La” theme song dress, the  ”Smurfette No. 1″ varsity sweatshirt with silk sleeves  and many more beauties you can see on the next page.

It’s the New York Fashion Week photo we always love stumbling upon–muse and niece of Alexander Wang, Aila Wang, in attendance at the Autumn 2013 runway presentation wearing some looks custom designed for her by Wang. The cutest part of all? She’s wearing 6-inch Wheat Timberlands, the current “everything” New York City boot brand.

Mara Hoffman has such genius command for combining color, print and fabric. Really, I ask you, who among current designers is better?
