Though I’m far from sold on the the whole concept of “toning” shoes, aka, footwear like FitFlops, which supposedly have the power to firm your butt, I gotta hand it to girl-genius Marcia Kilgore (she of Bliss Spa fame). She launched  the FitFlop shoe line two years ago and has only sold 4 or 5 million pairs since then. And whether or not you believe, the truth is her line stands up based on fashion alone. The “Shakoa” boot featured here gets extra points, not just because it’s a collabo with Kilgore’s old pal Ana Sui, but because the design very nicely spices up a classic look via a studded star and a side tassle(!). The boots (also in green and blue) are now available exclusively on Net-A-Porter and ShopIntuition (already sold out in a bunch of sizes in both places).

Fringes are everywhere,even in lingerie.Leave  it to La Perla to make a set that is tasteful and  reminiscent of something that  Marylin Monroe or Josephine Baker would have worn.The Laperla Fringed set@ Net-a-Porter

If there was to be a holy grail of Fine Lingerie La Perla would definitely make the list. The Indomitable*Brief above to me stood out as a remedy to some of you out there who complain of their midsection.And they are incredibly classy with an unexpected detail in the back.

When fashion shifted to  low rise that was a downfall of good posture and the rise of the muffin top…Think about it there was a reason  Marylin Monroe for example was always cinched in at the waist…

*Incapable of being subdued or overcome, I had to lookup the meaning, I figured for $ 300 panties the title does matter you know.

Last night the bossman sent us a link to Net-A-Porter, but when I clicked on it, I was informed that, sorry, but the item was already sold out. "What was that?" I queried bossman, and he told me that it was the Marc Jacobs Rolls Royce bag (which is not yet sold out at Saks).

^^Funny thing is, while it’s sold out, I noticed that on handbag sites its reviews were very mixed (which is a polite way of saying totally negative)!

My fave review came from a saddened Gizmodiva, who is normally a big MJ fan: "It really doesn’t look like anything he has ever offered before (everyone makes mistakes!). I am not sure if you would even want to be seen with it…"

Haven’t seen much from Robert these days, but these heels I spotted on Net-A-Porter are not only fetching, but emminently wearable.

^^The gold patent straps are what separates these from the pack. The gladiator feel is there, but it’s a very updated and modern version.

This Tom Binns cuff is clearly possessed, simply and truely wicked, and any woman who wears it will discover dark powers previously unknown to her.
