I think I stopped breathing for a few seconds, looking at these shoes. I’ve seen them on the runway in editorials here and there but now they are here! A click away at Net-a-porter. Gotta love  that neon detail…

Nike lately has been trying to do a less retarded job with its lifestyle clothing lines and I have to admit, all its hard work, not to mention time spent rubbing shoulders with the hoi polloi at indie trade shows is starting to pay-off. As an opening act for Kanye’s Glow in the Dark concert, RihRih suited up in an outfit that included velcro patent boots with neon straps. I can’t say I’m super crazy about them. The clunky heel bugs me, though I understand that they’re dance shoes so they have to provide some quasi-solid footing. Lord knows she doesn’t need to look any stiffer than she already does when she performs live.

^^Are we gonna see a bunch more neon as a result of this tour? I’ll bet a yes on that.

Since David, our boss, only sleeps 18 minutes/day, he has a lot of time to look around for interesting stuff and is nice enough to email us the links. Sometimes I look at the items and I’m like, jeebus David, that is going on HighSnobette over my dead body! But just when I start thinking what a clueless doofus he is, he sends a link to a pair of shoes like these and I’m like, wow! For a dude, he has amazing taste!
