Our buddies at Married to the Mob have just added the Autumn 2011 line to the brand’s store. Offerings include the popular “Milton Glaser” hoddie, brought back from the Autumn 2011 collection. As for credits, that’s Sarah, sister of designer Leah McSweeney, above with the mic in her, err, hand, and on the next page, see a couple of new men’s additions modeled by Kai Perez (son of photographer, Shadi).

Married to the Mob headed to Times Square to photograph its Summer 2011 lookbook, which features the muy bonita and talented Jasmine Solano. Head mobstress Leah is in the mix, too, hanging out with the Naked Cowboy no less! Shop the entire collection here.

Married to the Mob had done a lot of collaborations but the label’s work with Fafi has always been a favorite. There’s a certain ying and yang going on with their combined energies that just works. Made Mob woman, Tabatha, is modeling the tees for this collection, which are on sale now.

Married to the M.O.B.’s Spring 2011 lookbook just landed in our mailbox and offerings are modeled by “Nails Did” Kid Sister, friend to the M.O.B. family who also modeled the brand’s Spring 2009 line. You can purchase the line on the M.O.B. retail site or check out the rest of the lookbook on the next page.

The Married to the MOB holiday lookbook has just dropped and it’s full of lots of great looks, including some new tees, some of which are sure to be classics, including “Good Girls Bend At The Knees, Bad Girls Bend At The Waist!” The tee on this page is my fave–love when this brand calls out its New York roots, plus the vee-neck is sexy. And the slim, long-length zip-up hoodie on the next page was calling my name, too! See lots more images, all modeled by made-MOB girl, Sarah McSweeney–when only the orginal will do! Shop the collection here and see lots more looks on the next page.

We showed advance images last month of Reebok’s collaboration with the Married to the MOB on a pair of blue “Double Bubble” kicks, and now we’ve heard word that the shows are now available for preorder. The shoes are $100 and there will only be 50 pairs sold. To reserve a pair, email: info@MTTMNYC.com.

Leah McSweeney and Married to the M.O.B. are baaaack, with another collaboration with Reebok, the first one with Colette, which famously sold out in less than 30 minutes. This one feature the all time classic Reebok Freestyle in a style called “Dubble Bubble.” The shoe has a suede upper in cobalt blue, pig suede lining, plus a rose gold Married to the M.O.B. logo pin on the outside of each shoe. Inside the tongue reads “We stay laced since 1982.” On the design, this time around McSweeney says she wanted a more grown and lux shoe, “The last Reebok I designed with Colette was a little more playful and I wanted to do something a little more grown up this time.” The shoe launches November 1st and can be picked up for 100 beans at Karmaloop and Michael K on the East Coast and Undefeated and PickYourShoes on the West Coast. I’m assuming brick and mortar shops only. A couple more shots on the next page.

Kanye claim the suits won’t let him use album art (click to next page to view) of choice because it features nudity (more specifically a black man having sex with a white woman with a polka dot tail!). The execs whisper otherwise behind his back. –Latimes
M.I.A. has purchased another URL, featuring her latest video song offering. Other sites are saying it features a live performance, but all that’s there now is some dude’s face. –Bedroomtothehallway
You like a man with tats? Head to Mobliving, where the MTTM ladies get their male buddies to strip during the photo shoot for the holiday lookbook. Much laughter, blushing and picture taking ensues. –Mobliving
In the ongoing depate over whether the Asian-influenced Louis Vuitton runway collection would actually appeal to Asians (ignoring the fact that it will probably barely hit stores), one Hong Kong socialite gives the LV runway the thumbs up, while a consultant says it was too heavy-handed. Well that solves that! –WSJ
In more debate news, among black women, “going natural” gains steam but, naturally, not without some good ole “good hair” controversy. Cocoandcreme.

Been hearing this was coming and now it has most officially arrived: MTTM tees for the fellas! There are three styles and the one on this page is easily my fave. It takes its inspiration from one of my all time favorite Jay-Z (clearly pre-Beyone lockdown) songs, “Girls, Girls, Girls,” and is personalized with the M.O.B. flavor, stating, “I got this MOB bitch that don’t cook or clean but she dress her ass off and her walk is mean.” Lol, may have to get that one for myself! Who’s doing the modeling? He’s rapper Curren$y of J.E.T.S, who the M.O.B. ladies describe as “young, hot, rebellious, and confident.” Nice! More of him and the other two styles after the flip.
