After a Tweetpic MTTM designer Leah McSweeney shared last week, the brand has officially launched its holiday collection for 2012. The collection includes a range of punchy statement shirts and graphic leggings presented by our favorite M.O.B. model and Leah’s sister, Sarah McSweeney. Check out the full range on the next page and get them from the M.O.B. online shop.

We have an exclusive preview of Leah McSweeney’s new collection of women’s leggings that evolved from a collaboration between the MOB (Married to the Mob) founder and Vice columnist Cat Marnel. The leggings will be available in three different styles including a peacock model with a full-body pattern and a blck-paneled option as well as Aztec prints in bright colors. Shot by Prince and Jacob of Lovecat magazine, the whole project was more a liason between friends who love and admire each other for what they do than a profit-orientated collaboration.

After coming off a first-time successful publishing effort with the recently-published Tabatha (which btw sold out at the launch event!), Married to the Mob rolls out its Summer 2012 looks, as modeled by made M.O.B. woman Sarah McSweeney and rap artist Curren$y. Must say given its status one of the last remaining effective cuss words, I do adore the “Cunt” tees, though the ”Want Me, Hold Me, Fuck Me, Hate Me” tee works, too, because what is luv after all without intermittent hate–a boring shame, that’s what.
On the next page see the rest of the lookbook, including tees for the fellas.

The Mob crew is at it again, bringing new looks for Holiday 2011. Standouts are the “Deflower Me” leggings (as modeled above by Sarah McSweeney) and boyfriend sweatpants, plus for sheer fun points (not to mention a great X-mas gift), the “Die Young Stay Pretty” sox. All available for purchase here.

Never-ever shy or demure (and thank god for that), Married to the Mob offers a beach towel that says what’s what. On the next page, check out the brand’s “Bunny” tote in red, yellow and black. Available for purchase now at the Mob store.

Kanye claim the suits won’t let him use album art (click to next page to view) of choice because it features nudity (more specifically a black man having sex with a white woman with a polka dot tail!). The execs whisper otherwise behind his back. –Latimes
M.I.A. has purchased another URL, featuring her latest video song offering. Other sites are saying it features a live performance, but all that’s there now is some dude’s face. –Bedroomtothehallway
You like a man with tats? Head to Mobliving, where the MTTM ladies get their male buddies to strip during the photo shoot for the holiday lookbook. Much laughter, blushing and picture taking ensues. –Mobliving
In the ongoing depate over whether the Asian-influenced Louis Vuitton runway collection would actually appeal to Asians (ignoring the fact that it will probably barely hit stores), one Hong Kong socialite gives the LV runway the thumbs up, while a consultant says it was too heavy-handed. Well that solves that! –WSJ
In more debate news, among black women, “going natural” gains steam but, naturally, not without some good ole “good hair” controversy. Cocoandcreme.

Been hearing this was coming and now it has most officially arrived: MTTM tees for the fellas! There are three styles and the one on this page is easily my fave. It takes its inspiration from one of my all time favorite Jay-Z (clearly pre-Beyone lockdown) songs, “Girls, Girls, Girls,” and is personalized with the M.O.B. flavor, stating, “I got this MOB bitch that don’t cook or clean but she dress her ass off and her walk is mean.” Lol, may have to get that one for myself! Who’s doing the modeling? He’s rapper Curren$y of J.E.T.S, who the M.O.B. ladies describe as “young, hot, rebellious, and confident.” Nice! More of him and the other two styles after the flip.

For its second set of Autumn deliveries, M.O.B. called on singer Shanell to rep its line. She’s one of a long line of unapologetic females who define what this label stands for. Refreshing to see after a week of watching runways featuring models, who seemed more monochromatic than ever. Standout items continue to be the cardigans, and for newness, a grey satin jumpsuit. The shoot also features accessories by another HS fave, accessory designer Tanaya Henry, whose Lace presentation we checked out last night and will be featuring shortly. See the rest of the MTTM shoot on the next page.

For those of you salivating over rumors of Married to the M.O.B.’s demise, put your drool in check because the brand is alive and well and throwing parties celebrating its latest collaboration, this time with outerwear company Burton. We covered this partnership back in August, but the dinner party last night at Macao in SoHo, marks the official press rollout of a collection that includes boards, jackets, pants and hats. The whole crew was there (check out images on the next page of MOB designer, Leah McSweeney’s hot lil’ brother, Daniel, who is modeling for Red!), the food was excellent and and so was DJ Jasmine Solano. As always, McSweeney has lots planned, including a fun tee-shirt collabo, plus……a television appearance that is certain to be a howl–stay tuned for details! More images on the next page, included our very own Tim, he of Radcollector fame!

Because of the success of the M.O.B. X Lacoste lace “Hiromi” sneaker, the two labels decided to team up on some tee shirts. It’s kind of funny to see those two vastly different labels snuggling up against each other but it’s also what makes this collabo work. The black tee is featured here and the white is on the flip. Both are now on sale at Lacoste boutiques.
