Featured earlier this month, enjoy a closer look at additional silhouettes and colors  of the Marimekko and  Converse collaboration launching next month. Marimekko and Converse teams up  with Chuck Taylor’s on a collection of  sneakers  for the upcoming Spring/Summer 2013 season. The collection features Marimekko prints by Maija Isola and Maija Louekari available in Chuck Taylor All Star and a brand-new silhouette, Chuck Taylor All Star Platform.

The new Converse x Marimekko collection will be available from March 2013 at selected Marimekko stores, premium retail outlets and online at www.converse.com.

Looks like there are more canvass sneaker styles to come from the Converse collaboration with Finnish design house Marimekko, and this one includes “the most famous Marimekko Marimekko print of all time, the Unikko [poppy] design, originally from 1964 by Maija Isola, to which her daughter Kristina Isola has created a new coloring and scale for the Converse shoes.” Look for this to hit retail June 23rd.
