We highlighted Rihanna’s manicure for the Grammy Awards last week, and just now I stumbled across a close-up shot. As you can see for yourself they are simply amazing. I can’t quite figure out what the art is, but it looks like some form of currency. It reminds me of a manicure I spotted on the cashier in a McDonald’s drive through a few years back. She had teeny-tiny, shredded-up dollar bills lacquared on to her tips. I almost feinted! I’m telling you, shopping may cheer a girl up, but nothing lifts a heart like glancing down at a freshly polished set of nails.

People, for the first time in my HighSnobette-writing life, I am officially stunned silent. Seriously. I have no words that would adequately describe the awesomeness I feel when I look upon the Chanel manicure featured below.
