Loubi Du Jour

Louboutin Loubi Du Jour

Followers of the brand know that the Louboutin Facebook page is updated often with a “Loubi du Jour.”  This sky-high pair of black sparkle pumps went up today and led to some serious heart clutching. Not sure of the who, what or where, but the caption for these bad girls reads, “Belinda’s shining approach to a Friday night in Tsar.”

CL2 Louboutin Spike Pumps Spring 2011

Louboutin showed some beige, kitten-heel spike pumps earlier this year and for spring he’s showing more in the same vein, only this time the heel is higher and the shoe includes a bow detail. The colors are different, too, olive on this page and white (!) on the next. Via Style.

Louboutin Leopard Print ‘Kathena’ Satchel

LouB1 Louboutin Leopard Print Kathena Satchel

Something about Louboutin and leopard print that is like a soul-mate-level match. The celebs (KimK, natch–she flashed hers at a Gucci FNO event!) have been working the clutch version of the “Kathena” hard lately, which makes sense for the red carpet, but there is something so undeniably extra about this satchel. I’ve got visions of the HS version of lunch with the ladies with this bag, some ripped up jeans, expensive lingerie and a thick gold chain or two…..heavenly. Available in Lou-B stores now.

LouBPump Louboutin: The Perfect Pump for Right Now

The basic pump featuring a mid-heel height continues to assert itself as a leading fashion item and this nude, patent peeptoe “Mater Claude” version by the master himself, Christian Louboutin, perfectly epitomizes the trend, basic, yet still somehow a little flashy and in your face.

Madonna in Lou-B at Swaggy Elton John Party

MadonaLouBLook.co.uk Madonna in Lou B at Swaggy Elton John Party

The pre-Oscar parties are in full swing and Elton John pulled an amazingly a-plus list crowd for a fundraising event held at the newly-opened Soho House in Hollywood. Our forever fave Madonna was there, where she doubled down on Louboutin with a pair of  ‘Tahiti’ black and white pumps from his Spring 2010 collection, and a ‘Lolita’ studded clutch.

Get a close-up look at her white LouBs, featuring a black flower (be still my beating heart!) and the clutch with a perfectly placed scripted ‘Louboutin’ label after the jump.

KateMossBody Loves Magazine: Body Conscious Series Featuring Kate & Naomi

Love’s magazine has done several different series featuring very cutting edge (or naughty depending on your maturity level) photos of some of the industry’s biggest models. The latest features Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell as photographed by Mert Allas and Marcus Piggot. The image on this page is one of the least racy and features Kate Moss’s legs in a pair of Louboutins. The photos are amazing as is the level of intimacy revealed.

Be warned, should you click on the link, the page will feature a LOT of nudity. Source: FashionGoneRogue.

MTTMLeah Leah McSweeney: Stella & Louboutin

I told you in the last post  that M.O.B. designer Leah McSweeney looked amazing at the party at the Pierre Hotel for her collabo with LaCoste. Typical Virgo that she is, her get up is immaculate, from her perfectly coiffed honey-colored locks to the Stella lace jumpsuit (which coordinated with her sneaker) and natch, shoes by who else but Louboutin, who’s been murdering it like it aint nothing for a minute.

On the flip, images of M.O.B.’s trouble-makers No. 1 & 2 (Tab and Lourdes) and what would a M.O.B. party be without a little Sweet Sixteen??

Snobettiest Item of the Day: Louie-B Flourescent Orange Wedges!!!

29 May 2008, 16.24 | Posted in Fashion, Shoes | No comments »

I started this item-of-the-day feature a couple weeks ago and managed to keep it up for a whole five days in a row (if that even!) Besides obvious issues with the limits of my attention span, I have to say that there are some days when I just don’t come across an item worthy of Snobettiest status. So now I’m just gonna do it when I see something that’s amazing. Like, for example, these killer Louboutin platforms. I mean, come on. Just look at them! I defy you to find a single thing wrong with them:

Louie-B: Limited Resort Collection

19 May 2008, 14.52 | Posted in Fashion, Shoes, Stores | No comments »

Louboutin is doing a special collabo with One and Only Resorts (some super-stuffy/expensive, international resort chain). There will be three styles and the collection launches in June. You can only buy them at the resort or the Louie-B stores in New York and London.

LouBOne Only Louie B: Limited Resort Collection

Me and Samia were talking shoes yesterday and I had to clarify that I am back to liking Louie-B after a period of hating him for being overly obsessed with that trademark red heel, which–thank god–he appears to have moved past. I think this collection is just okay (though granted, perfect for a hoighty toighty resort setting), but there’s other shoes he’s been designing lately that have been great.
