Liberty of London and Nike have been partnering for a while now, and yet we still feel excited over new drops. For the upcoming collection, styles will include Lunarglide 4, Free Run 2 & 3, Air Force 1 high top, Lunar Montreal, Air Max 1, Blazer high roll top and Sky High Skinny Dunk, all featuring the signature Liberty floral, this time in purple and yellow. The styles featured here will be available on Liberty’s retail site starting this Friday for a period of one month only.

Images from the Dr. Martens x Liberty collaboration surfaced last week but I’m guessing there are quite a few readers who still haven’t seen them. One of my kids told me there was a Dr. Martens-related fight at his school last week involving theft of shoes leading to a beat downs. Between two girls. Now you know, shoe lunacy isn’t limited to expensive Nikes and males. (Tho lots of labels who have to deal with permanantly “borrowed” merch provided for shoots, etc. already knew that.)

B Store always comes with the amazing mixed materials story, and with this “Mila” sandals, the brand collaborates with Liberty on a blue floral print on a cut-out silouette finished with a Perpex heel (I put Lucite in the headline because who the heck has ever heard of Perpex!). Nike and Liberty have teamed up to create four new sneakers for Spring/Summer 09. Two versions of the Blazer will each feature one fabric with a solid draping while the Nike Hi Dunk will use multiple fabrics creating a patchwork effect. Liberty is known for delicate color palettes and floral prints, this mixed with Nike’s clean aesthetic is sure to gain some attention.
