The Lacoste collaboration with designer Catherine Malandrino is now on sale, and features all the cute looks we showed when we previewed the line in February.

An unlikely collaboration that we had some doubts about when we were told about it, but were very pleasantly suprised when we saw the actual garments. Somehow these two French-rooted brands found fertile grounds to bring together their themes–preppy + bohemian chic, for a collection that offers a fresh new look that compliments both labels. Because of the success of the M.O.B. X Lacoste lace “Hiromi” sneaker, the two labels decided to team up on some tee shirts.  It’s kind of funny to see those two vastly different labels snuggling up against each other but it’s also what makes this collabo work. The black tee is featured here and the white is on the flip. Both are now on sale at Lacoste boutiques.

I told you in the last post  that M.O.B. designer Leah McSweeney looked amazing at the party at the Pierre Hotel for her collabo with LaCoste. Typical Virgo that she is, her get up is immaculate, from her perfectly coiffed honey-colored locks to the Stella lace jumpsuit (which coordinated with her sneaker) and natch, shoes by who else but Louboutin, who’s been murdering it like it aint nothing for a minute.

Samia and handed over to Manhattan’s Pierre hotel yesterday to enjoy high tea (yes, high tea, trust, for this Jersey girl it was a total hoot and a half) with all our M.O.B. crew favorites in celebration of Married to the Mob’s collaboration with Lacoste. The shoes are amazing, unique and the lace theme couldn’t be more on point. Priced at $120, look for them to go on sale February 13th. I’m behind on getting these up, but after this post I’m going to do another one dedicated to the people in attendance (Leah looked smoking hot–wait ’til you see!)

LaCoste was actually at WSA and Compass, but like a dummy, I didn’t visit the booth at Compass, where, I’m told by Lacoste p.r. champ Emalie Adcock, there were was lots of cool Vault stuff that wasn’t at the WSA. Oh well, the stuff at the WSA was still pretty great.

^^These bright-pink hightops were causing quite the ruckus in the booth. I had to wrestle them away from a sales rep and as soon as I was done shooting them he snatched them right back.

Lacoste is working on upping its design game when it comes to women’s offerings and the effort has clearly paid off with the fall 2008 collection:

^^Don’t quote me on this, but I think the rep told me that these shoes were designed by a guy who used to design for Vivienne Westwood. The rep was wearing these shoes and I gotta say, they looked HOT with her dark denim straight legs (albeit, she was really tall and skinny and pretty so that could have been a factor).
