Everything in the Rogues Gallery line has me daydreaming about frolicking in the woods of Maine to get weird and take murky underwater photos in a lake. Particularly these nautical necklaces.

Maison Martin Margiela has partnered with jewelry house Damiani, to create a jewelry line of 14 pieces,labeled in true Margiela fashion as #12.The concept being XXL or double extra large,features items like  chain links, earrings and the the signet ring above ,enlarged to bigger proportions. j’aime beacoup!

I love the idea of sentimental jewellery.It’s like the Illusion that you’re the only one who owns this particular piece, because you made it,  collected the pieces or it was handed down to you. Scosha  , a jewellery designer  based in New York conveys that. Her pieces don’t look mass produced while the aesthetic she uses to present them makes them even more special… and of course, the grunge/rocker/flower/ child in me just loves it all! While I have had it up to here with silhouettes of woodland creatures and birds used as a design feature, I fell in immediate love with this ice cream bar necklace, made for Nylon magazine by Lucas Design. There’s a lot of factors tugging at my heartstrings, starting with my longterm love affair with ice cream (and it helps that it’s finally starting to feel like ice cream season in New York), add in the purple sparkle and I’m reeled in hook, line and sinker!

This necklace and some others will be available for $50 a pop on 06/01 at Fred Segal, Karmaloop, and UrbanOutfitters, but there’s not gonna be endless quantities so get ‘em before they melt!

Long announced, the Louis Vuitton jewelry collection designed by Pharrell Williams finally seems to be hitting store this Spring season. Named “Blason”, the collection consists of edgy, avant-garde pieces inspired by the music universe and featuring combinations that include, but are not limited to, white gold with diamonds and yellow gold with diamonds.

The pieces range in price from 1,400 to 420,000 Euros, or approximately $2,070 to $621,000. Louis Vuitton will officially unveil the Blason collection to press on January 21. A party hosted by Williams and Miceli celebrating the pieces will take place that evening at a private mansion on Avenue Foch. More here at FWD.
