I started obsessing over Jessa aka Jemima Kirke of Girls over the weekend, and yep, I still am. Like I’m thisclose to starting a F-yeaJemima Tumblr.  But there’s already this one  dedicated to all the actors on Girls so I’ll leave it be for now (esp since I can barely make GIFs work much less crete one). Since yesterday I collected a few more Kirke images, which are on the next page. Some are from Girls and others are from her first film, Tiny Furniture, and the one with her baby is some thing she did with Coach. Yes, the handbag company. In one she’s even wearing an amazing pair of A Peace Treaty Earrings.

Spent yesterday afternoon internet obsessing over HBO’s new series Girls (see first episode courtesy of HBO here), especially the character Jessa Johansson (above midde, played by Jemima Kirke), reading everything there is to read, watching all the videos, etc. I like to imagine my 20s self was Jessa, but the truth is more like two parts Jessa , eight parts Hannah Horvath (above left, played by the show’s writer/director Lena Dunham) and an as-of-yet-to-be-determined-parts Marnie Michaels (above right, played by Allison Williams). That was always a fun part of Sex & the City, figuring out who and how much you identify with each character and the things they do that make you love them and even better sort of struggle to like them…just like real people!
