Jeffrey Campbell for fall gives us a super sumptous interpretation of the classic engineer boot, sexing up the feel by making it soft and slouchy. Would love to see just how much it slouches on the leg. One would hope not too much. Via FashionLover.

We’re told that the wildly popular over-the-knee “Slash Tick” Jeffrey Campbell boot, which we had an exclusive look at back in February, is now back in stock at SoleStruck. Priced at $189, it sold out once already and will probably do so again.

When attending the trade shows, I always intend to take candids of the fashionable folks strolling the floors, but you’d be surprised if you haven’t been to the shows because it’s not always easy to find photo-worthy walkers! For a lot of attendees, it’s a work event and they’re wearing comfy (read: b-o-r-i-n-g) footwear. The one exception was New York’s Coterie. That crowd was much more dressed up, but then again the labels that show there are higher end and the crowd is older. Alas, I forgot my camera that day. The image above was worn by a LAMB rep at the Project show in Vegas. After the flip some candids of Chloe boots, Jeffrey Campbell wedges and and a couple of other cute styles spotted at Magic (also held in Vegas), Project and Compass (in New York).

After visiting the Compass shoe show earlier in the week, I stopped by FFANY, which is a much more traditional sort of show shoe held in the Hilton, as well as brand showrooms.  The Jeffrey Campbell suite was packed to the rafters and full of manic energy as usual, but I figured I ‘d try my luck and ask if I could photograph anything. Normally the reps say no, but thank my lucky stars this time they said yes! And look at the FIIIIRE boot they let me shoot! S0-so hot. And it slips right on, easy as pie. It’s called the “Slash-Tick” and you’ll be able to purchase it April 25th at Solestruck.

You’ve seen the previews, but now you can feast your ideas on Jeffrey Campbell’s entire 2010 Spring look book, which includes a fashion collaboration with fellow, Los-Angeles-based brand, Funktional. And not for nothing, but what a great way for two brands that occupy distinct categories to collaborate creatively!

Ahh, what better artist than Andy Warhol for Jeff Campbell to take inspiration from for these “Meow” flats. After All, Warhol was often accused of being an overly commercial and unoriginal artist….and yet no one would deny his uncanny knack for riding the crest of pop culture hotness . Of course there’s also the connection between Campbell’s soup and Jeff’s surname. Though again, irony of ironies, the word Campbell isn’t spelled out on the shoe. Not that it needs to be. We can all see that the shoes are mmmm, mmmm good!
