This can look like a lot of boot, but the wearing options are endless. I see them worn in the same way you would clogs. Wheter you go bohemian or “femme lumberjack” (ok I  just made that up) with thigh high socks denim , checkered shirt and furry bolero you will win. We’re excited about Jeffrey Campbell’s foray into handbags. It’s going to be fun to see how the brand extends its creativity and cache to the  category. The first collection is called “Girls We Hated In High School” and we think the mini bags featured on this page are the standout, though there’s plenty else to like for those of you who want a bag capable of providing your stuff with a little more breathing room. All of them just arrived at Karmaloop, which also will be on the receiving end of some exclusive JC bags soon.

Jefffrey Campbell is showing a sneak preview of one of the illustrations by Philip Mimms, who has worked with the brand quite a bit and this time will be the creative force behind JC’s next lookbook, called “Outer Limits.” Look for it to go live sometime next week.

Shot against the backdrop of a sleepy U.S. town whose glory days are in its past, the Jeffrey Campbell shoes featured in this Spring/Summer lookbook look right at home, inspired as they are from the vintage racks. Still, much like the always modern blue skies that fill the pictures, JC’s shoes stay current via the brand’s signature over-the-top platforms and wedges, slashing leather straps and distinct color stories. Arrived in Vegas for Magic yesterday and of course popped by Jeffrey Campbell in the Pool section of the show, where as always its booth was buzzing. JC always delivers the latest trends but at the same time it always remembers to give love to its cult fans obsessed with its platform offerings. This delightful pair of rainbow platform sandals has been this Spring’s biggest hit, and they will be hitting retail shortly.

On another note, the brand is launching handbags! I peeped the images yesterday and natch, they are trend perfect and the JC girls will love them. Look for us to post those soon.

Jeffrey Campbell for fall gives us a super sumptous interpretation of the classic engineer boot, sexing up the feel by making it soft and slouchy. Would love to see just how much it slouches on the leg. One would hope not too much. Via FashionLover.

We’re told that the wildly popular over-the-knee “Slash Tick” Jeffrey Campbell boot, which we had an exclusive look at back in February, is now back in stock at SoleStruck. Priced at $189, it sold out once already and will probably do so again.

When attending the trade shows, I always intend to take candids of the fashionable folks strolling the floors, but you’d be surprised if you haven’t been to the shows because it’s not always easy to find photo-worthy walkers! For a lot of attendees, it’s a work event and they’re wearing comfy (read: b-o-r-i-n-g) footwear. The one exception was New York’s Coterie. That crowd was much more dressed up, but then again the labels that show there are higher end and the crowd is older. Alas, I forgot my camera that day. The image above was worn by a LAMB rep at the Project show in Vegas. After the flip some candids of Chloe boots, Jeffrey Campbell wedges and and a couple of other cute styles spotted at Magic (also held in Vegas), Project and Compass (in New York).

After visiting the Compass shoe show earlier in the week, I stopped by FFANY, which is a much more traditional sort of show shoe held in the Hilton, as well as brand showrooms.  The Jeffrey Campbell suite was packed to the rafters and full of manic energy as usual, but I figured I ‘d try my luck and ask if I could photograph anything. Normally the reps say no, but thank my lucky stars this time they said yes! And look at the FIIIIRE boot they let me shoot! S0-so hot. And it slips right on, easy as pie. It’s called the “Slash-Tick” and you’ll be able to purchase it April 25th at Solestruck.
