An easy-breezy (yet still tough) collection from Hellz Bellz, called ”To Dye For” to get you through the relaxed days of summer. Each piece has a name and the super sexy one featured on this page is called “Lover’s Revenge.” It’s a sleeveless knit with leatherette chain detail. A bunch more after the flip.

Not only do we love the fact that a West Coast label is repping NYC but the fact that the almighty Oak is selling a label we love to call street wear is of course fantastic. Vans was in New York last week and while I didn’t have it in me to battle the line for the party, I was able to stop by the showroom earlier that day. And let me tell you, Vans has a LOT planned for the ladies in 2010, all sorts of juicy collabos with some very high profile streetwear designers. I’m sure you can imagine. I wasn’t allowed to photograph or blog about any of it, but I did take a shot of category manager, Ashley Moltz, who was wearing the Hellz Bellz/Vans collabo kicks (they look even flyer on the foot) and some new Vans outerwear. (And you can catch a peek at some of the goodies, which are right behind her!)

Here’s a look at the Hellz Bellz Autumn/Winter 2009 2nd Floor  delivery titled Midnight Riders. Photographed by Brooke Nipar  utilizing dark themes found in the iconic 80’s flick ‘Mad Max’. ‘Midnight Riders’ aims to represent the ideology of the subversive in not only fact and fiction, but fashion as well. From a fashion standpoint this is probaly on of my favoritesHellz Bellz Collection as her aesthetic is made clear and defined with pieces that stand on their own as must haves. The’ Style Warriors’ Collection “is designed to celebrate women who escape the mundane and predictable in every facet of their lives. The Stussy/Hellz  Bellz “Ladies First” collabo we mentioned on the site earlier this week is now live in Stussy Chapter stores. A handful of other streetwear retailers will carry pieces of it as well. Gotta give Stussy props for the smartness of this collabo–it youthens its brand up and enables Stussy to reach women to a degree that it would struggle to do on its own.  Natch, rubbing shoulders with the all-time great Stussy is a lovely look for HellzBellz, too!

After seeing several teasers of the collection, the release of the Stussy x Hellz Bellz “Ladies First!!” capsule line is just around the corner. Stussy is well known for their collaborative projects, but usually there was not much for the ladies in the mix – that was until now!

“This ladies-only collaboration features a capsule collection of tees, tops and accessories. Available at Stussy Chapter stores and other premium streetwear retailers on March 7th.”
