Yesterday it was Victoria Beckham with her ultra-cuddly baby-girl and now we have Gwen Stefani and her son Kingston both in camouflage, looking badass and ready for battle. Love how he has the black marks under his eyes. Not sure if that’s just him expressing his lil’ creative self, but it’s crazy cute!
P.S. Can you tell we love the babies??

The Target x Harajuko line has hit stores and is now available on line and it’s pretty adorable. This type of children’s clothing has always been available in boutiques but it’s a bit of a first for this look to be offered at a big box chain with the extra bonus of having Gwen Stefani’s name attached to it. (On another note my computer isn’t the fastest but check and see if you don’t find the site to be laboriously slow!)

Tons of folks got into the spirit of Halloween spirit last night. Here is Beyonce as adorable as she wants to be in a bumble bee costume. On the next page Alber Elbaz, Marc Jacobs, Gwen Stefani, Russell Simmons, Heidi Klum & Seal (whose costumes are starting to freak me out–Heidi’s chimp boobs–look away!), Sasha Obama and many more.
Highlights include Amber Rose as Slash, Al Roker as the Gingerbread Man (so awesome) and model Ajak Den as Princess Leia! Special fashion props to Rashida Jones who sported Isabel Marant Kicks with her blowpop costume. Images via Huffington Post, V Magazine and Wire.

Harajuko Lovers has a new fragrance launch coming up and it’s called “Super G,” as in Gwen we presume or perhaps it’s targeted to all you lady gangstas–ha! According to press, it has a “fruity floral fragrance.” Look for it to hit stores in August. Via Tokokowaii.

Two different versions of Gwen Stefani are featured on the April cover of Elle magazine, and within the article she references her wedding dress, as designed by John Galliano. Apparently it was considered to be so wondrous that it’s being sent to the Victoria & Albert Museum in London. She’s quoted as saying,
“I said I wanted [my wedding dress] to be over the top, but not traditional – I wanted it to be everything. But how do you tell this genius over the phone? He was, like, OK, and sent me these drawings of this unbelievable, perfect dress. It’s going into the V&A now. I didn’t wanna send it because I was scared it would get ruined. But it’s a work of art, it needed to be seen.”
Ha! Wonder if V&A is all like, “Ummm, maybe on second thought…” Via Thetelegraph. See the second cover and her now infamous wedding dress on the next page.

Given Lamb designer Gwen Stefani’s own personal design vision, one would guess her fashion line would be a walk in the park, especially given how widely she is loved and admired and how there is a geniune dirth of designers addessing her look–street-inspired, sassy and smart. And while there are pieces that speak to the fashion she is best known for, her shows seem to veer wildly from season to season and within any given collection attempts to do too much. Which could be why her line has struggled to find a home at retail. We wish that were otherwise!
