Here’s a look at our faves from last night’s Grammy awards. Images include both red carpet–which was all about the gown with train, and performance looks. Featured celebs include Rihanna (above wearing Dior), Heidi Klum (Julien McDonald), Katy Perry (Giorgio Armani), Kim Kardashian (Kaufman Franco), Jennifer Lopez (Pucci), Nicki Minaj (Givenchy), Ciara (Pucci)….you know, all the usuals plus a few others.

We highlighted Rihanna’s manicure for the Grammy Awards last week, and just now I stumbled across a close-up shot. As you can see for yourself they are simply amazing. I can’t quite figure out what the art is, but it looks like some form of currency. It reminds me of a manicure I spotted on the cashier in a McDonald’s drive through a few years back. She had teeny-tiny, shredded-up dollar bills lacquared on to her tips. I almost feinted! I’m telling you, shopping may cheer a girl up, but nothing lifts a heart like glancing down at a freshly polished set of nails.

Performers at the show had three outfits: arrival (above), performance and what each one wore while sitting in the audience. Lady Gaga delivered each time with amazing get-ups, which were a collaborative effort with Georgio Armani. I’m going back and forth on whether I want to comment on Taylor Swift getting the “Album of the Year” award over her, but I’m going to keep my mouth shut for now. Any thoughts from you guys?

Cute picture of Katy Perry and RihRih sharing a gut-busting laugh. Perry’s style has me very much on the fence, but I’ve always been awed by her perfect skin. And if you haven’t already, check out Rihanna’s mani! I’m wondering if it’s CalGel, which I’m dying to try!

Samia and I were talking about Ke$ha’s style yesterday, agreeing that she is the ultimate California girl.  Not of the beach or Valley variety, but the hyprid rocker/hippie chick with a direct DNA fashion connection to the likes of the Golden State’s Stevie Nicks, The Runaways and Exene Cervenka.
