We have a post-Vogue-Paris-break-up photo of Carine Roitfeld (that’s her with Diane Von Furstenberg above), spotted in Givenchy in New York last night at the Amfar Gala, which raises funds for AIDS research. Perhaps not coincidentally, we read on Fashioncopious this morning of more rumors on her departure from Vogue. The latest version, which comes from Cathy Horyn at the NY Times, is that there were complaints about her lack of presence as a manager (a la Nina Garcia and Elle) and Roitfeld offered in a threatening sort of way to resign….like, oh, you don’t like it, then fine, I’ll leave! And much to her surprise, the response was, great, don’t let the door hit on your way out! And part of the fallout was that Roitfeld and Emmanuelle Alt, who nabbed the editor in chief spot, are no longer speaking. Quelle novella!
After the flip, a better view of Roitfeld’s dress, plus images of Iman, Anna Wintour and her bestie Blake Lively, Donna Karan, Karen Elson performing, and Olivier Theyskens.

Style announced last week it was planning a tee-shirt collabo with some of the industry’s hottest designers to celebrate its 10 years in the business. The tees still aren’t on sale yet, but Fashionista got some sneak peeks of the designs from Lanvin, Alex Wang, Givenchy (above), Proenza Schouler and Balmain, with the common design theme being a Roman numeral 10. Priced at $45, the entire collection will go on sale at Style.com’s mobile pop-up shop in Madison Square Park on September 15, and on the site September 16. The rest of the designs on the next page.

Didn’t mean for this site to become a chronicle of all things Lara Stone marriage related, but it’s like nibbling at the pie in the fridge, we can’t seem to stop ourselves! We posted an image of what we thought was the wedding dress yesterday, but that was actually the post-nuptials outfit. On this page is the real thing. So she did go traditional and white. Oh well, at least she avoided the strapless profile, a look so ubiquitous at weddings these day you’d think it was a required uniform. Like the gold dress, this one, too, is Givenchy by Ricardo Tisci.

All that was missing from our last post on Lara’s Stone’s wedding yesterday was an image of the dress, and it was well worth the wait! By Givenchy designer Ricardo Tisci, it’s the opposite of traditional, but perfectly sensible for a girl who makes her living showing the garments of the world’s most talented designers. And look how tiny her waist is! Via DailyMail.

As I completey lost my mind over the splendor of accessories from the Givenchy Autumn/Winter 2009 Couture Collection. The label announces the release of their ’Black Box’ creation for 2009:
“Each year Givenchy unveils a ‘Black Box creation’ in a special limited edition. For 2009, they present the fourth edition of a jewel. In the continuity of Rosario, this brooch of Moroccan origins, reminiscent of the Southern Cross, is a design dear to Givenchy’s creative director, Riccardo Tisci. Simultaneously traditional and contemporary, adhering to Givenchy’s design ethic, it can also be worn as a pendant. Gold plated, they are also individually numbered in a limited series of 100. The jewel will be available from November 2009 in Givenchy flagship stores and at selected retailers worldwide”.Via dazed.
